In collaboration with Bresagen, we have obtained 29,657 high quality 5' ESTs and 3,353 high quality 3' ESTs from three human embryonic stem cell lines. The 5' sequences, after removal of vector, adapter and low quality ends, average 744 nt. All sequences are available from this web site and GenBank. All trace files are also available from GenBank. This effort was funded by the National Cancer Institute of NIH. The results form part of the Mammalian Gene Collection project. These sequences were obtained from arrayed I.M.A.G.E. Consortium [LLNL] cDNA clones (The I.M.A.G.E. Consortium: An Integrated Molecular Analysis of Genomes and their Expression, Lennon, G.G., Auffray, C., Polymeropoulos, M., and Soares, M.B., [1966] Genomics 33, pgs. 151-152). Clones are available through the I.M.A.G.E. Consortium.
