All data presented at this web site follow the above convention.  In the Spring of 2007, however, this convention was modified to facilitate use of some software, such as phrap, that expect the sequence direction to be at the end of the name.  The modified convention differs in that the species/genotype code follows the well number.  In the above example, it would now be:
